This piece shows part of Colorado's Garden of the Gods. Modeling paste is built up to create the rocky formations that lead your eyes up into the heavens. Modeling paste is also applied to create a variety of textures in the plant life. Wool was needle felted into the canvas to create the wispy clouds of a sunny day. The image and its three dimensional qualities wrap around the edges.
