Scratch That

My work begins out in the field and behind the camera lens - observing natural subjects in their environment and striving to capture a moment that reflects their unique features and personality. I bring those images into the studio to recreate using acrylic paint. Using vivid colors and expressive application, I find joy in throwing paint at canvas and bringing animals to life. My hope is that my art helps others connect with the positive emotions that come with experiencing nature as well.
